Evening Park Adventure

Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Sunday evenings always seem long so we often head to different parks around town. Jason had seen this area while riding his bike and it didn't disappoint! I think it was at Paloma Lake and it had 2 parks, splash pad and a lake with a dock. We loved exploring outside and I guess it wasn't horrible weather or we wouldn't have even gone outside!

Love these sweet simple nights with my family!

Best selfie we could manage!

Sweet Berry Farm Visit

Wednesday, September 28, 2016

There's no way around that I'm a full 4 months behind on blogging... so I'm just starting from where I left off and diving in! So that's the first of May with a Saturday trip to Sweet Berry Farm for strawberry picking with friends to celebrate Rose's third birthday!

It was a beautiful day and we kept things simple by bringing a picnic lunch, picking strawberries and enjoying nice weather and friends. Most of the time Nora wandered around with a giant chip bag much to my dismay (insert laughing emoticon here). She also wanted to pick all the non-ripe strawberries but we had a lot of fun overall. And aren't those photos of her with Trey just the cutest? I'm planning an arranged marriage for them already :) Nora was 23 months old here-just before her birthday! I was 28 weeks pregnant also.

 Little buds!

 28 weeks pregnant
 Strawberry face!

When I was pregnant with Nora we went to Sweet Berry Farm and it was exactly 2 years before at this time! So I was 38 weeks pregnant with Nora on the left
and 28 weeks pregnant with Venna on the right.
 Crazy!

 Happy birthday cute Rosie!

Saturday at San Gabriel Park

Friday, May 13, 2016

The Saturday of General Conference we headed to San Gabriel Park in Georgetown in the morning to try and wear Miss Nora out before we listened to conference for the rest of the day. The Nields came along and we had fun exploring the park, the creek and the nice weather.

Sometimes I can't stand her cuteness and sweetness!

Just call Nora a 'kitten in the sun"

This might be one of my favorite photos ever of these two.
Jason is so good at exploring with her. He will climb up or down and do it over and over. There was a little creek here and they were looking at the tiny fishes. It was so sweet.

 Matt had lots of tricks!

Matt climbed up all the way up this tree! I have no idea how he did it.

Nora loved the tire swing. Don't you ride the tire swing with your jewels on?

 My little diva!

Just another lovely spring morning in Texas. I loved it this time with our little family and friends. :)
