Christmas Morning

Monday, February 15, 2016

Christmas morning! I think I was more excited than anyone for this morning!!

We brought Nora downstairs and she slowly examined her kitchen! She loves it but it took her a little while to figure out how it worked! Thanks Mimi and Grandpa!

We got her the stroller and she loves it. She's obsessed! Always pushing it around.

 Jason's presents:
A new bike pump from Mom and Don!

I got Jason this book from Nora. She has the "Me and My Mom" and now she has the "Me and My Dad." It's my favorite to watch them read it.

 Earrings for me from Mom!

The most romantic thing a husband can get his wife: a can opener! :)

The other best gift a wife can get: a selfie stick!! Yay!

Cutest basketball hoop for the bath tub from Aunt Sierra and Uncle Brady. She loves it and uses it all the time in the bath.

Cute purse for me from Mama and Don!

New bike jersey for Jason from Mom and Don! Looking good Jase!

Some new books!

I got Jason a bunch of sauces and Mustard's for Christmas from Trader Joe's!
He loved them as you can tell!

I love this photo of the chaos. Such great memories of a sweet morning.

Opening her presents from Grandma and Grandpa!
Now baby has a highchair too!

I think we just played and relaxed the rest of Christmas! Yay! A great day.

Christmas Eve

We had a nice Christmas Eve with our little family of 3- eating lunch at one of our favorite local spots- Greenhouse Craft Food in Round Rock. We had a nice meal and then went home and assembled Nora's kitchen for Christmas while she napped. I think we also watched 2 Star Wars movies in there too (we were gearing up for the new one!). We did manage to complete the kitchen after only 3-4 major mistakes (ha!).

That night we read The Polar Express and Luke 2 to Nora and baked cookies for Santa. It really was the perfect chill evening and Nora is just such a fun age to get excited about things (even if she doesn't understand!).

Jason and I watched White Christmas that night and were VERY GLAD we didn't have to assemble the kitchen that night since it was stressful and exhausting during the afternoon and  I know that at night would have been even worse! I was giddy as a little kid for Nora's first real Christmas in the morning and it didn't disappoint! :)

December Fun!

I'm doing my darndest to catch up on photos! But I want to be done with December....so many photos!

A fun day at the Arboretum with the Lathams-seeing Santa, taking photos on cows...

Nora's Sunday Best!

Mesmerized at Target by the Christmas lights

Black Friday shopping with these ladies!

FaceTime with the family!

Black Friday shopping with my 2 cuties

Our 2 advent calendars: 1 with chocolate and 1 with activities. We did probably 75% of the activities? And Nora ate 100% of the chocolate calendar that Grandma sent :)

Every day she LOVED opening both of them. It was seriously so cute.

Somebody got a big girl carseat!
She definitely loved it more here than she does on the daily now. Argh.

Cookies for the cookie exchange party

One of my favorite photos with her!

Just hanging with Olaf in her crib

Can you find Nora?

A girls night out for Allisa's birthday and it was so fun. Love these ladies.

Happiness!!!

She still liked her nativity this year too!

Just eating pretzels in the cart at Walmart with her cute scarf!

Love this happy photo of them one day when Jason got home from work.

Family selfies!

Trying out the back carrier! She actually did like it despite her face!

Coordinated colors for a high school football game!

Reading Christmas books at breakfast

Neighbor gifts! Nora loved delivering them. She became a pro at knocking on doors and lots of people had us in for treats and for playing. It was so fun!

Hitting up the after Christmas sales for wrapping paper and treasures!

P Terry's date over Christmas break

Took Nora to her first movie and she did great! It was actually a lot of fun! She did get restless at the end but I can't wait to do it again! We saw Hotel Translyvania 2.

We take babies on lots of walks around the neighborhood now with the stroller!

Yay for December Fun!
