I took some senior photos (my first time!) a few weeks ago and I wanted to test the light before my shoot so I made Nora be my little model. She just looked like a little bit of sunshine to me! She is so bright and happy and FULL of personality. How I love this girl of mine- she is my best friend, my partner in crime, my cooking assistant, ice chomping buddy, fashionista little mini me and I love her so much. I'm so glad she's ours-even when she's driving me nuts!

 Look at that lone tear. I think it's because I wouldn't let her have my glass of water because she would have dumped it all over her and I wanted her to look cute for her mini photo shoot.

 I get this look A LOT. "Mom, why are you saying no to me? Mom, Why can't I have more pretzels? Mom, I want to run in the street and you won't let me!" 

How could we ever get mad at that face?!

Everyday Nora

I rarely bust out my big camera for the everyday but I was reminded to recently and I love these sweet shots of Nora I snagged.

I will miss these simple days at home with my girl! But soon we will have another girl to add to our crazy days and I can't wait for that either!

Then the cutest post nap faces! This girls 99.9% of the time wakes up so happy from naps. She instantly wants to play, run, read books, etc. She's always smiley and cuddly and it's so fun. 

Park Days

We have been spending nearly every day at the park this winter and spring! We have had such a mild winter that so many days we have been at the park! Nora is becoming a climbing pro and loves the slides. And o man, if she finds the swings-she will want to stay there at least 50% of the time (or more, much to my dismay).

We go every Friday with our ward playgroup and it's always a lot of fun. Love my days with this girl!

A Morning in Downtown Round Rock

Nora and I had a fun morning in Downtown Round Rock! We went to storytime at the library, looked at books and then wandered around the square.

Nora's at such a fun age where she loves music and books and loves to wander, run and play! She's not super great at instructions yet but she always makes me smile even when she's being troublesome! And can we just say maybe she should wear these overalls everyday???
