This past Spring we were throwing around the idea of a "Friendcation" with all of our amazing friends here in Austin. We invited everyone, looked at condos and finally ended up with 4 couples, an awesome beach house and a 3 day trip planned to Galveston.
We had so much fun driving down, eating seafood, going to the beach and staying up late having girl talk and boy talk.
We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms and the house had awesome porches where you could watch the sunset.
Needless to say we are already planning next year's trip and can't wait to go back!

Gaido's Seafood Restaurant. I had the shrimp po-boy which was good! Overall though, the food wasn't super impressive.
We headed to the Strand (the downtown strip) for some beach shopping after lunch.

We were just a hop, skip and a jump from the beach. It isn't the prettiest but it was perfect for us.
