Brit and Addie and Cora came to visit this summer after their last weekend in San Antonio. We had a fun day going to Torchy's and the park with the kids and hanging around and catching up!
That evening our nice friends The Halls were willing to watch the two sleeping babies while we went into Downtown Austin to party! We walked all around the city after trying to see the bats we missed them. FAIL. Then we tried to take them to our favorite food trucks and they were closed. FAIL. But we took funny pictures and laughed a lot and got to know them better and it was so fun. We finally ended up getting burgers at P. Terry's (a local Austin favorite) closer to home and it was perfect. We did see 6th street and told them lots of interesting facts about Austin (we are trying to convince them it's the most awesome place and they need to move here!) But seriously, I'm so glad we chatted for hours and I feel blessed to have them in our family. Maybe one day we will live close to them for real because how cute are Cora and Nora as second cousins and they are only a couple months apart in age!
