Firsts with Nora

Being a parent is so much fun. We are loving all these Firsts with Nora and I don't want to forget any of them! And I refuse to apologize for lots of pictures of our cute baby-I don't want to forget any of these sweet moments and we hope you'll indulge us!

First Bath 
June 10th, 2014- 4 days old. She didn't like it very much but she loves them now!

 She was beautiful from the start!

 Mom and Dad look a little worse for wear but we definitely improved over time!

 Had to document a sad moment! O man-so sad I can't stand it!

She recovered though and looked cute again in her little hooded towel. So fun. 

First Faux Hawk

First Shopping Trip(s)

June 21, 2014

 First grocery trip with the 3 of us. She slept in the carrier the whole time and it gave me hope!

 First Nike store trip. Jason was working and was sad he missed it. Nora was obviously thrilled. 

 First day shopping with Jason's parents at The Domain-this outfit kills me.

First Time in the Ergo with Daddy

June 28th, 2014

 This carrier saved our lives! Lots of nights when she was cranky Jason carried her around in this and she fell asleep. We even got pretty good at eating, watering the lawn etc. while carrying her. Nowadays, we mainly put her in it for bigger outings or the grocery store.

 Jason was trying to see if he could work with her in the carrier but she really didn't like 

when you sat with her in it!

First Documented Smiles

First Fourth of July

 Breakfast at the Ashfords and BBQ at the Binghams then fireworks!

First Road Trip to Dallas

July 11-13, 2014

On the drive up to Dallas (4 hrs with traffic) Nora did well overall but definitely got tired along the way with some crying. On the way back we timed her feedings just right and stopped halfway so it went perfectly!

She liked napping on the ottoman at Dad and Carol's and she looked so cute like a little bean pod!

We also learned where she got her sleeping habits from!

She also got to meet most of Carol's family and MeMaw for the first time! She loved cuddling with Aunt Karen.

Despite her sad face she was good the whole time until the end when she got hungry and tired. This was MeMaw's 90th birthday party!

 

First Sunday at Church

July 20, 2014- 6 weeks old
