Back to School

So here is a little recap of school and the past few weeks:

On my first day:
I left on time ready to seize the day...only to find that my car wouldn't start.  A frantic phone call later to my husband resulted in me finding the keys to the truck (thank goodness we do have 3 vehicles!) and I was off to school. Then, there is only one parking lot next to my work with about 20 spots and at 7:36 when I arrived it was already full, of course.

So I headed to the next parking lot all the way across campus hoping to make it to work by 8:00. I successfully parked the huge truck and was off to school, albeit a little exasperated. But to my happiness, found some of my favorite people, Jessica and Porntepp. They made the walk to school so much more bearable after a hectic morning, and with a little effort I arrived at work at 8:01.

Work was great, getting to interact with students again and tell people about the service programs that I love so much. Those three hours flew by and I began killing time before my classes. Jason suggested I come visit him at his work since I didn't have anything to do and I enjoyed spending time with him but I wasn't feeling the best. Soon enough I felt awful and wasn't going to be able to go to my only class for the day. So my fabulous husband went in my place and I went home to get some rest for the rest of the week. Needless to say, lets hope tomorrow goes better!

Tuesday:
I am taking a Shakespeare class and it seems fun already. I am also taking a genealogy class and I am pretty stoked to be able to learn about genealogy and teach others as well. I have a lot of work to do though!

Tuesday night, I had a Relief Society service auction. For the auction, you fill out a form with questions that lets you earn fake money and then you tally your money and use it to bid on real items. I only bid twice with my $889. First, I bid on a men's haircutting class being the good wife that I am. Sadly, I was outbid. But don't worry! I won a photo session with a girl from my ward so she will be taking fall pictures of us. Jason is thrilled, to say the least! [ha]

Wednesday:
I found a friend in my Business class, yay! I went to my grant writing class and it looks really cool. Its just once a week from 7:00-8:40pm but the teacher is cool and is going to make it fun. By the end of the semester, I will have written my very own grant and submitted it!

Thursday:
I normally have my capstone class but it was cancelled this week because my teacher had a conference. I will be writing a research design as my final project for graduation.

Jason has started applying for jobs, so we will see what happens!

Friday:
No class this day! I worked from 8-2 and again realized how much I love my job! Great people and great experience.

So it looks like it will be a fun and informative semester! I am pretty excited and have gotten over my initial worries. I am sure I will still be pretty busy with schoolwork but I am excited to enjoy my last 2 semesters of college. Jason and I have lots of fun goals to experience PRovo and to soak up our last year with friends.

Speaking of friends:
I was reunited with these ladies!
In particular, SISTER STEWART!

We had a nice little get together and I am so excited to hang out with these ladies for the next year!

Also, I made Jason a delicious back to school meal:
Fondue!
Visit my food blog for my details!

Next posts to look forward to: One year anniversary. Pocatello marathon.
